It is a 45-year-old arts organization centered on cultural preservation and service through art. Our name, "Fua Dia Congo," means Congolese heritage, and since 1977, we have been sharing traditional music, dance, and culture from Central Africa, specifically the Kongo Kingdom.
Founder
Fua Dia Congo is an important organization in the Oakland community that provides much-needed support to the Congolese community. They offer a wide range of services, including cultural and educational dance programs, and community events.
