Open community classes

Classes will be starting back soon!
What should I wear to class?
Dancers should wear loose but well-fitting clothing that allows the dancer to move freely, such as sweats or stretch pants and a fitted top or t-shirt that can be tucked into the dancer’s pants. Dancers will dance with bare feet.
What should I bring to class?
Dancers should bring a water bottle and a towel to class. Water fountains are available on site. Additionally, dancers taking the Adult Pan-African classes are encouraged to bring a yoga mat for the ab and glutes floor exercises.
The African Queens Dance Company empowers young girls, ages 7-18 to pursue physical, spiritual, and emotional wellness through dance. Both on and off the stage, we celebrate our culture and promote social action to make a difference in our San Francisco Bay Area community and the world at large. Today the Queens still dance strong with a new generation of dancers coming into the world.
